When you travel across Nebraska you take interstate 80. Near Kearney you come under the Great Platte River Road Archway. Make sure you stop because it is a great museum. This route by the Platte River has been used for years. Indians, frontiersmen, pioneers and now me! I like to read books about an area when I am traveling. I am reading My Antonia by Willa Cather. The book was written in 1918 and it is about growing up on the prairie in Nebraska.
